Brittle

The word "brittle" does not have much connection to the moral but it is what Pascal thought off the physical appearance of the homeless person. He could have been thinking that they love their kids or that they obey their god but he was only thinking about their physical shape. This extends to the moral because Pascal shouldn't have just looked at their physical shape but should have also thought about their actions or movements that differentiates a slob from a mannered citizen. Just like how people shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
