Conspicuous

The word conspicuous has to do with the moral because that's how Pascal felt when he was walking with the giant crucifix on his back. The moral that goes with this is people have different judgements because it is sometimes necessary to break from the P.O.V of another person, to have your own voice and to be different (*things that are different from the rest are conspicuous*) from the crowd. Just like when Pascal talked back at his mother, he was conspicuous because he was different from the majority (majority meaning his mother and his sister) so he stood out.
